Secondary students and teachers spent last weekend in the wilds of Mecklenburg on a Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition.
The trial run for this trip took place on the school grounds a week earlier and a keen-eyed and skilful photographer in Grade 10 managed to snap some images of a nocturnal diner.
