House Captain Christmas cake and Kinderpunsch sale
In the second to last week before the Christmas holidays, the House Captains held a cookie and Kinderpunsch (children's mulled wine) Christmas sale to raise money for two Berlin charities, the Berliner Tierheim (animal shelter) and Berlin Bahnhofsmission, which helps the homeless in Berlin during the cold winter season by donating food and warm clothing. About 600 people are given a hot meal with a warm smile every day.
Our students worked hard to make a delicious selection of cookies, muffins and other tasty delights, which they all made themselves at home. During the lunch break, the other students had the opportunity to donate a couple of euros for the charities and pick up some tasty treats while doing so.
