Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? At BBS, snow is glistening ...

Today the children enjoyed the first snow of the festive season. BBS became a winter wonderland and the children had a great time playing in the snow in their winter boots and snow suits, which are now drying off in the warmth of the school. 

For some of the children at BBS, today was the first time they had ever seen real snow, like sisters Elliote and Elianna, who are from Tanzania. 

"I was happy. I made a big ball in the playground. It was big and rough and cold. It was fun. I was also skating in the snow like an ice skater." Elliote, Grade 4. 

"I was very happy. I like the snow." Elianna, Grade 1.
