The students in Grade 6 and 7 enjoyed a day trip to the theatre to see an excellent performance by a local acrobat. James Kingsford-Smith used his circus skills, honed with the cirque du soleil, to put out a powerful message regarding the ways we can help combat climate change. He was raising money for an environmental charity. We plan to have James come in to do a workshop with grade 7 in the summer term. The students were invited on stage at the end to help with part of the performance.
