Slapton Field Trip
Slapton Field Trip
Field trips are a regular event in the school calendar at BBS. However, due to Covid, we were unable to travel anywhere for the last two years. This year we have been able to go on trips again, and Grade 11 were very lucky to travel to Slapton, a town in South Devon, England for their IB biology field trip.
During their trip to Devon, the students stayed and studied at the Slapton Ley - Field Studies Centre. To practise their data collecting skills, the students visited the rocky shore and the shingle ridges at Slapton Sands.
These pictures show the last day of skills practice before the students went out to independently collect data for their experiments. We were lucky with the English sunny weather and lots of suncream was applied!
