Senior Maths Challenge

On Wednesday 5th October a group of students in Grade 11 participated in the Senior Maths Challenge hosted by United Kingdom Mathematical Trust. The challenge is completed by students from both the UK and Overseas and includes a set of particularly rigorous questions. Plenty of tricks and twists encourage the students to use the knowledge they have learned in completely novel contexts. 

This is the first time running the Senior level of the Maths Challenge for Grades 11 and 12 following the success of the Intermediate and Junior levels earlier this year. Between them, some of the students were even awarded Silver and Bronze certificates which, seeing as the students have not yet covered all of the knowledge included in the challenge, makes it a particularly stellar achievement.
