Gr. 6 History Trip

Grade 6 enjoyed a great day at the Museumsdorf Düppel. The village square is modelled on a medieval settlement from the period between 1170 and 1220. The replica houses provide insight into life in the Middle Ages and are built and maintained by the Förderverein Museumsdorf Düppel e.V. It is a hands-on museum for visitors of all ages.The students were able to try out medieval utensils for themselves during their guided tour. In the museum garden the students could find plants that were planted in the Middle Ages and some of which are still used in natural medicine today.
