Exploring Futures: A Look Back at Our Inspiring Careers Fair
On March 31st, 2025, the Secondary School hosted a vibrant Career Fair, bringing together a wide range of educational institutions, industry professionals, and creative thinkers — all with the shared goal of helping students imagine and explore their future career paths.
From entrepreneurship and finance to digital innovation and marketing, the fair offered a diverse range of workshops, tasters, and presentations. It gave students the chance to explore both familiar and new career interests while gaining valuable insight into life beyond school.Thanks to all the exhibitors for visiting our campus and sharing valuable insights with our students.
Workshop Highlights Included:
- Istituto Europeo di Design led a creative deep-dive with “Design Yourself: Portfolio Session with IED”, guiding students on how to best present their work in the world of design.
- BBS very own Marketing Manager shed the light on“Marketing in the Creative Industries,” a practical look at the power of marketing and highlighting the range of roles within the marketing world."
- The Medicine in Europa team demystified the process of studying medicine in their session on “How to Study Medicine in Europe.”
- Explorientation gave students a look at how to make the most of a gap year, from travel and volunteering to gaining new skills and experiences.
- From the world of hospitality and finance, Swiss Education Group/Hotel Institute Montreux offered a unique taster lecture: “Stock & Crypto Trading 101: Exploring the Markets & Building Wealth.”
- Students got imaginative with NABA/Domus Academy in their arts workshop, “Flyer from the Future.”
- Lancaster University captivated attendees with the quirky and thought-provoking question: “Can You Build a Computer Out of Crabs?”
- Touro College introduced students to the basics of cybersecurity, including income types, in their engaging session, ”Cyber Security?”
- Code University inspired budding entrepreneurs with their talk:“How to Build Your Start-Up While at Uni.”
- Forward College challenged traditional thinking in their lecture on “Creative Destruction and Innovation.”
- Hult International Business School brought innovation to the forefront with a workshop in “Design Thinking.”
- LEINN International, Travelling U, and Mondragon University introduced their Entrepreneurial Leadership & Innovation program that takes place in different city each academic year (Bilbao, Berlin and Seoul)
Our dedicated Careers Team worked tirelessly to expose students to a wide array of post-school options, ensuring they are empowered to make informed, confident decisions about their future.
