Christmas Market
Last week, our Grade 11 German B and ab initio students went to the Christmas Market at the Charlottenburger Palace. Since its first opening in 2007, the enchanting Christmas market in front of the magnificent Charlottenburg Palace has quickly become a crowd-puller. Over 100 international exhibitors delight the many visitors with their stands. Traditional handicrafts such as Advent stars, pyramids, incense smokers, nativity scene accessories, Christmas decorations, candles, jewellery, ceramics, leather goods and silk items are on sale, as well as all kinds of sweets and a large selection of culinary delicacies.
