Career Month - Week 4

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs Coetzee, Counsellor at the Namibian Embassy, to speak with our students during Week 4 of our Career Month. She offered a fascinating insight into the work of an embassy and her role in representing her country abroad.

Her talk highlighted the importance of diplomacy in building and maintaining international relationships, promoting peace, and supporting access to essential resources and opportunities. She also shared guidance on academic pathways for students interested in this field, including subjects such as languages, history, geography, politics, and international relations.

Students gained a valuable understanding of careers in diplomacy and the impact of international cooperation in today’s world.

As part of our Career Month Talks, this event aims to inspire students by connecting them with professionals from diverse fields.
