Varsity Boys Basketball
The 2024/25 season was very successful for the BBS Varsity Boys Basketball team. The team set off to the annual basketball GISST tournament which was hosted by the Franconian International School in Erlangen. Being promoted into Division I this year meant the team had to quickly adapt to higher playing standards. The team managed to grow together quickly, focus, play really well while demonstrating a winning mentality. This attitude allowed the BBS Varsity Basketball team to come back from trailing by 15 points in the semi-final and win against BBIS in overtime, securing BBS the 3rd place trophy. In addition, their tremendous team work and team spirit was credited with the fair play trophy. The BBS Varsity Boys Basketball team should be very proud of their achievement this season and we look forward to continuing this journey.
A big thank you, from the team, to Mr. Murphy for all his coaching, organising of external basketball events (Alba) and encouragement and Mr. Nicholson for chaperoning and scorekeeping during the last match!
