U14 & Varsity Girls' GISST Football Friendly

Saturday, 13^th September was a busy and exciting day for all our football teams as they took part in friendly matches in preparation for the upcoming GISST tournaments in BBIS (U14 Girls), Frankfurt (U14 Boys), Neu/ Ulm (Varsity Boys) and Leipzig (Varsity Girls).

The U14 and Varsity girls played at BBS and U14 and Varsity boys at BBIS. Everyone played against BerIS and BBIS teams.

Both the U14 and Varsity girl teams showed plenty of energy, demonstrating clear growth in their understanding of the game and teamwork. They also succeeded at strengthening individual areas for improvement. This helped them grow as a team.

The U14 girls lost one game 3-1 and won a game 5-1. The team played without any substitutes, so this was a most respectable display.

The Varsity girls lost both games, but several players had their first game experience and despit the result, they bonded well as a team and fought hard to the end.

Hopefully there’ll be more friendly games to come for all of our teams.

Well done everyone and thank you also to the CAS students that supported the event and helped raise €95 for Laughing Hearts!
