K2 Trip to the JARO Theater
K2 Trip to the JARO Theater
Our K2 children went to see a play at the JARO theater in November. The JARO theatre puts on its own productions for young audiences from kindergarten to primary school age. Founded by Katja Behounek-Pölzer and Martin Pölzer over thirty years ago, the theatre has developed its own unique way of combining theatre, puppetry and music. This experience not only lends them an adeptness in developing plays, but above all creates a special sensitivity for the children, who thus enter a trusting and appreciative space during their visit to the theatre. For their part, their influence is intended at times through built-in interactive moments, which reinforces the arrival in the space as well as the suspenseful course of the story.
