Community Spirit Shines at Sommerfest

This year’s Sommerfest was a fantastic celebration of the BBS community spirit. It was wonderful to see students, families, staff and friends come together for an afternoon filled with fun, laughter and connection.

From duck fishing and bouncy castles to face painting, football and delicious food stalls, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The Highland Games were one of the highlights of the afternoon, bringing plenty of laughter, teamwork and friendly competition to the day.

The football tournament was another great example of this friendly competitive spirit, with players and supporters adding to the lively atmosphere.

The face painting stall proved especially popular, with long queues throughout the afternoon, while the food stalls were equally well received. The chicken wraps, loaded fries, popcorn and bake sale treats were a hit with visitors and helped keep everyone well fed throughout the event.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our PTA for organising such a wonderful event, and to all the staff who helped run stalls, serve food and drinks, and make sure everyone was well looked after.

Sommerfest once again showed what makes our school community so special. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We are already looking forward to next year!
