Our head students, Aaya Chamat and Pietro Adami, accompanied me to the Remembrance Sunday ceremony at the Allied and Commonwealth war cemetery on Heer Strasse. 

We are grateful to the Embassy of South Africa for this opportunity both to attend the occasion and to read two poems to the participants. Aaya read The Last Laugh by Wilfred Owen and Pietro Attack by Siegfried Sassoon. Both students were complimented by attendees for their most impressive readings.  

I am grateful to both Aaya and Pietro for their support on this always important occasion.
