5x5 km Relay

BBS maintained the tradition of entering five teams for the 5x5 km relay race through the Tiergarten, while running conditions were ideal for the thousands of runners that entered the race. This year BBS had a wide range of runners, the youngest being in Grade 4 and the oldest in Grade 12 that successfully ran the 5 kilometers. We entered one varsity team, three teams mixed with Primary & Secondary students as well as one teacher’s team. As every year the BBS runners were able to show off their running skills and exceed their expectations.

Bands, drummers and supporters along the 5km long running route cheered on all participants. The runners were provided with refreshments along the route and were rewarded with a picknick and a medal at the end for their outstanding performance.

Congratulations to every runner, you should be really proud of your achievement and we are already looking forward to the next 5x5 km relay race in 2026!
