GISST

The GISST Sports Programme offers BBS students, from Grades 6 to 12, the opportunity to compete Germany wide.

BBS is proud to be a founder member of the GISST (German International School Sports Tournament). GISST started in 2002, and competes with ten other international schools located within Germany. Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis, Basketball, Swimming, Cross Country and Track and Field are offered during the school year. Training takes place once a week after school. Students from ages 10 to 13,  play in the U14 tournaments, while students between 14 and 18 years old,  play at the Varsity tournaments.

Tournaments generally take place on Fridays and Saturdays.

Additionally, we are sometimes able to offer the possibility of competing in Cross Country and Swimming for students from
Grades 2 to 5.

If you would like your child to have the opportunity of participating in the training, friendly fixtures and possibly participating in GISST events, please fill in the BBS Athletic Agreement Form and return it to Ms Keil or Mr Nicholson. Please note that completion of the form is not a guarantee of a place in the team.
