Contact Admissions

***  Latest news  ***

Most grades in the Kindergarten and School have waiting lists for the next academic year (2023-24). Please complete a Enquiry Form (below) before applying, so that we can advise you accurately about spaces.

Grade 1 - We already have a long waiting list for the Bilingual stream of Grade 1 for the school year starting in August 2023. If your child fulfils the requirements for the Monolingual English stream you are welcome to apply. More information here: Monolingual English stream.

We can only accept applications for the Toddler group (children turn three years old during their year in Toddlers) if the child is a brother or sister of a student currently attending the School or Kita. Sibling applications have priority and fill the small Toddler group (limited to 12 spaces).

Admissions Process

Our Admissions team recognises that applying to a new school can be a strenuous process. Whether your family currently lives in Berlin or will be moving here soon, we are committed to supporting you every step of the way.

The first step in the process is to give us details about the prospective student or students by filling out the Enquiry Form below. This enables us to give you the information you need about the availability of places. If you are enquiring for more than one child please add their details onto the same Enquiry Form.

Our fees are available by clicking here: Fees. Please contact our Admissions team before applying if you have any questions about the fee schedule, income-related fees or scholarships.

When you are ready to submit an application, please use the Application Form below. Please upload your child's school reports for the last two years. Our Admissions Team will inform you about the availability of places. If spaces are available they will discuss the next steps (outlined below) with you.

1. We offer individual tours of the appropriate site which gives an insight into classroom life as well as the chance to talk with teachers and the Head of School. Appointments for tours can be made by contacting our Admissions team.

2. Visits and assessments
As a next stage we offer a free, three-day visit (shorter for Kindergarten admissions) to give both students and teachers the opportunity to get to know each other. It also allows the school to evaluate the student academically and observe the prospects of social adaptability to the school ethos. The visit is also a good opportunity for the student to get to know us and experience school life in a relaxed way.

3. Visit Feedback
After the visit we give feedback from the visit and the results of assessments made. A place in the school may then be offered. A student may start once a contract has been signed and other required documentation submitted.

Applications for admission are generally possible at any time in the academic year if places are available, but we do not admit students to Grade 10 or Grade 12. Starting during the academic year in Grades 9 and 11 may not be possible as the IGCSE and IB Diploma courses are designed for two full years of study.
