Middle School
Our Middle School site is situated in the leafy residential suburbs of Charlottenburg, just five minutes from the Olympic stadium. It caters to pupils from Years 1 to 5 which includes those from 5-10 years in age. Our highly qualified, experienced staff deliver a teaching programme based on the Key Stage One and Two units of study from the English National Curriculum as well as a carefully planned Language programme.
The Middle school site is a single storey building with ten classes in total together with a wide range of specialist classrooms and an ever increasing number of facilities to aid our teaching and learning. Our aim is to ensure our pupils build upon the foundation skills and experiences gained at our Lower School, gradually enhancing their independence skills and providing them with many opportunities to further their development across the curriculum. We also liaise very closely with the Senior School site as our Year 6 pupils are based there and we work collaboratively together to ensure a smooth transition. Above all, we are committed to providing a successful, happy and positive learning experience for all members of our school community.
Physical Education:
Healthy bodies lead to healthy minds and all our pupils are encouraged to be active through our extensive physical education programme.
Developing fitness, learning new skills and having opportunities to put team skills into practise are central to our ethos. Inter-house competitions allow pupils to develop a real sense of competitiveness in a caring and supportive environment.
The Arts:
Art, drama and music lie at the core of the school's philosophy where all pupils are encouraged to explore and share their individual talents. Pupils may realise their acting potential in school productions, enjoy seeing their artwork displayed in the corridors or play their instruments at one of the many musical evenings. Watch the video below to learn about the story of Joseph and his amazing technicoloured dreamcoat.
Welcome to Middle School!
