IB Diploma Easter Revision Courses 2012
Berlin British School is offering intensive Easter Revision Courses in April 2012 for IB Diploma students who want to ensure they achieve the highest possible IB grade in key subjects. Each of the three day courses will cover one IB subject course and is designed to provide a final boost to a student’s performance, whilst still leaving sufficient time for consolidation before the final Diploma examinations start in early May.

Our aim is to offer a comprehensive revision package for key IB subjects. We offer an opportunity to consolidate fundamental skills and revise the core content of the IB subjects.
Students are welcome to choose one or two courses from the list of available subjects. Each course is an intensive three day revision package, with sixteen and a half hours teaching time. Students will attend the school from 9.00 until approximately 16.00 each day. Teaching will take place in modern, well-furbished classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards. Small group tuition will ensure that students are able to work through problems with their teacher. We employ only experienced, trusted IB teachers, many of whom have experience as examiners, to deliver these courses.

The recently built and well equipped library will be available between 16.00 and 18.00 for students who wish to work on assignments.
In the evening of Day Two a sight-seeing tour of Berlin, included in the course cost, will be organised.

We aim to

- Provide students with revision strategies and tips
- Help students practise examination techniques
- Test students’ strengths and weaknesses
- Provide individual advice on how to improve performance before the examinations
- Set and mark written work that will provide the basis of diagnostic help
Fees
All courses are non-residential, but include morning snack and lunch, and coffee/biscuits during breaks.
One course – 475 Euros (445 Euros if paid before 10 February 2012)
Two courses – 875 Euros (825 Euros if paid before 10 February 2012)
Accommodation
Berlin British School works in close partnership with the Jugendgästehaus Heerstrasse, a newly opened youth hostel that specialises in school visits and educational tours. The hostel offers excellent accommodation approximately one kilometre from the school, and we offer a free minibus shuttle service between the hostel and Secondary School every morning and afternoon. The hostel offers a quiet, relaxed and civilized environment in which to enjoy your stay in Berlin. It is also ideally placed in order to access the excellent public transport system that can take you anywhere in Europe’s most exciting capital city in a manner of minutes.
