School bus

If parents themselves are unable to bring their children to school or pick them up in the afternoon, a bus service run by a private bus company is offered throughout Berlin. Children are picked up from home at a pre-arranged time and returned home at the end of the school day. The choice of routes through Berlin is subject to demand and may vary from year to year. Costs are currently at EUR 5.25 per journey and do not depend on the kilometres travelled. Parents do not have to commit themselves to an entire year of travelling; enrolment on a monthly basis is also offered.  The company we use has had a long-standing relationship with the school and has provided a very good service.
