After School Care

Berlin British School offers an after school care service. The children are supervised by members of staff and activities are organised according to demand, e.g. computer club, sporting and/or creative activities, outdoor play, homework. Children are given a drink and a snack during the afternoon, and can join the service after a club activity has finished. (This applies only for clubs at Primary School).

The service runs from 3.00 p.m. until 6 p.m. during term time.

Cost

Advanced Term payment: Through the site administrator parents may book and pay by invoice the service in advance for the entire term. The cost will be 450 EUR, payable in three instalments of 150 EUR, for each term. The service can be used at any time during the school year. If this option is used each hour of afterschool care would cost 2.50 EUR if used every day for three hours.

Vouchers: Parents can obtain from the site administrator afterschool care vouchers in advance. Each voucher costs 4 EUR per hour or part thereof. A minimum number of 25 vouchers may be purchased.  There will be no re-imbursement in case the vouchers are not used up by the end of the school year. Vouchers need to be handed to the afterschool care team when picking up your child.

Drop-in Payment: Parents, who use the afterschool care sporadically, pay 6 EUR per hour or part thereof. An invoice will be sent to them at the end of each term.

Late pick up fee after 6.00pm : €15 per 15 minutes

They may book their child in either for regular sessions each week, or use the service on a flexible basis, by letting the school know, no later than 11.00 am of the previous day, that they wish to use the service.
