Toddler Group
The group caters for children between the ages of 2 and 3 who, on their third birthday, would have the opportunity to join our Nursery.
The School provides
- a busy, comfortable and safe environment in which children feel involved and happy.
- adult focus on playing with the children to develop their interest to learn.
The group is supervised by qualified staff with a maximum of 9 children in the group. It opens five days a week from 09.00 to 12.00. The cost is 15 euro per child per session.
The group’s aims are to
- provide an environment that is child-centred to develop independence and choice
- encourage a sense of belonging
- encourage children to value books, enjoy stories, and learn songs and rhymes
- provide a variety of experiences which stimulate interest and concentration
- encourage children to eat healthily
- help children learn about safety and how to care for themselves.
Organisation and supervision
The group is supervised by a qualified Erzieher/Nursery Nurse. There is also a voluntary worker supporting the group during each session.

11.45 Group gathers for a story
After the first week of attendance during which parents may stay until 10.15 to ensure their child is settled, parents are asked to leave their child as soon as they arrive at school.
