Welcome to Berlin British School

and its international community. Having spent most of my career in one of the leading independent schools in the UK, I have much enjoyed my new responsibilities as Head of BBS. I have aimed to build on the School’s excellent reputation and lead it to its next stage of development. To that end, in February 2011 we published a Development Plan which charts the direction we aim, over the next few years, to take the school, and which you may view on this site on http://www.berlinbritishschool.de/en/about-us/school-development-plan Although some of the objectives have already been fulfilled there is still work to do, and we look forward to ensuring the remainder are fulfilled in the near future.

I very much enjoy meeting all those who have a stake or interest in the school, be they members of staff, parents or students themselves, and invite anyone who may wish to become part of our community in the future to contact me. I particularly welcome contact from parents or students looking for a unique educational experience which successfully blends a commitment to internationalism with all that is best about the British educational system. It is this combination which makes Berlin British School like no other.
