Inspection Report

We were successfully inspected in February 2008 by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), a body approved by the UK Government. This independent quality assurance informs our future planning and is part of our continuous cycle of school improvement. Here are some extracts from the report:

"The Sixth Form curriculum is of high quality. A well-planned two year IB Course is provided that is responsive to students’ interests and capabilities."

"Pupils’ attainment at IGCSE and IB is good in relation to their abilities. It is above the worldwide average for international schools. Standardised data shows that pupils make consistent progress."

Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development of Pupils

"The school enables pupils to develop sound spiritual understanding and well-developed, moral, social and cultural understanding. The school achieves its aim of nurturing self-confidence."

The Quality of Teaching

"Teachers successfully meet pupils' diverse learning needs."

"Teachers know pupils well. Pupils have confidence in the teaching they receive, and usually meet the generally high expectations teachers have in respect of work and behaviour. Occasional unsettled behaviour is quickly and sensitively controlled."

The Quality of Care and Relationships
